I recently joined our newly appointed Warndon Board Chairs, Hannah and David, along with board members and representatives from the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government (MHCLG) with Worcester City Council Deputy Leader, Jabba Riaz for a walk around Warndon.
It followed the formal submission of information to national government, including details of our newly appointed board members. This is key to unlocking the first round of funding for work in Warndon.
The Board is now going to be doing loads of work to reach every person in Warndon, gather hopes, views and priorities and prepare a 10 year plan for Warndon’s transformation – putting power directly in the hands of the people of Warndon.
